Since the tornadoes ripped through the southern half of America almost two weeks ago, people everywhere have jumped at the opportunity to help the survivors in their time of need.

Church groups, Red Cross members and many others were on the scene the next day to help, but supplies are still needed. Non-perishable food items and water are needed as well as non-food items such as sanitizers, blankets, socks, towels, and baby items. Donations can be dropped off at ABC Children’s Academy in Russellville, the Salvation Army or Atkins First Baptist Church.

Monetary donations are also being accepted at numerous Atkins banks. For more information regarding donations or volunteer work, you can contact the Salvation Army at (479) 968-5358.
