When classes started last week, the Baswell Techionery was easily one of the most visited buildings on campus. New and returning students alike were filing into the techionery to see just what the building had to offer.

The recently completed Baswell Techionery is a two-level, 14,200-squrare foot building that offers indoor and outdoor dining, meeting spaces for organizations and lounge areas. The building also includes wall-to-wall views of the Tech campus with large windows surrounding the entire space. 

“I think it’s just awesome. It’s really a magnificent space,” said Susie Nicholson, vice president for student services. Nicholson also said that Doc Bryan will still be used for dining options by offering Grab and Go lunches and keeping the convenience store open.

The following vendors are available in the Baswell Techionery:  Chick-fil-A, Build Your Own Burger, Martin Yan Can Cook, Which Wich and a smoothie and coffee bar.

Dining hours for the Baswell Techionery are during the following times:

Monday-Friday--

7 a.m.- 9 p.m.

Saturday--

11 a.m.- 9 p.m

Starbucks Coffee and Island Oasis Smoothies will be open during the following times:

Monday-Friday--

7 a.m.- 11 p.m.

Saturday--

11a.m.- 9 p.m.
