High school students from throughout the Arkansas River Valley will be in Russellville today for an Arkansas Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (ArkACRAO) College Planning Program.

The event will be hosted by the Arkansas Tech University Office of Admissions and will expose high school students to information from universities, colleges, vocational-technical schools, military branches and financial institutions.

The daytime session will be from 9-11 a.m. in John E. Tucker Coliseum. There will also be an evening session from 5:30-7 p.m. in Ross Pendergraft Library and Technology Center Room 300.
The evening session will also include a financial aid and scholarship information workshop by Shirley Goines, director of financial aid at Arkansas Tech. That meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. in Witherspoon Auditorium.

Students from the following areas have been invited to attend the ArkACRAO College Planning Program at Arkansas Tech: Atkins, Booneville, Clarksville, Danville, Dardanelle, Dover, Fourche Valley, Hector, J.D. Leftwich (Magazine), Lamar, Mountainburg, Mulberry, Nemo Vista, Oark, Ola, Ozark, Paris, Plainview, Rover, Pleasant View, Pottsville, Russellville, Scranton, Western Yell County, Johnson County Westside and Wonderview.
