Valentine's Day. Who doesn't hate it? Am I the only one?

Maybe I don't hate it because I'm not the one being pressured to pay $60 for roses or buy a flashy promise ring, an engagement ring, a Patagonia jacket, a fluffy gorilla holding a heart (not a real one of course), or boxes of chocolates. That's right -I'm not a guy. (Can I get an amen on that one?)

Loyal to its predecessors, the newest film in the Underworld series, "Underworld: Awakening" is a riveting and eye-splitting experience for avid moviegoers and science fiction fans. Released in January at both 3D and 2D theatres across the nation, the film drew in an extensively broad array of viewers and raked in over fifty million dollars in revenue, and that is without counting the month of February. It is the fourth film in the Underworld series, and contrary to public preconceptions, it successfully found its place amongst the top releases thus far into 2012.

1. Elton John Pepsi Commercial

The scene opens with a jouster singing "It's getting hot in here" To the king (Elton John) to try and get his approval to get a Pepsi from the cooler. The king says enough and pulling a lever the jouster falls into a pit leading to an underground dungeon. Another person comes before the king dressed in a blue hood. Removing the robe it's revealed that it's a woman. The king asks her what she does. The woman says that she sings. The king laughs her off and prepares for the lever.

Planned Parenthood is a place that helps women in a number of ways. It is a nonprofit organization that provides affordable health care that is safe and dependable for women who couldn't otherwise afford it. There are many people who think Planned Parenthood is just a place for women to get abortions. In fact, more than 90 percent of Planned Parenthood's services are preventative services. They provide contraception to prevent unintended pregnancies, they test and treat sexually transmitted diseases to reduce the chances of them spreading, and they screen for cervical, breast and other forms of cancer.
