The Arkansas Tech chapter of Psi Chi, the National Honor Society in Psychology, announces its spring 2008 induction ceremony. The following students will be included Tuesday at 6 p.m. in the Doc Bryan Senate Room.
Lisa Beck, Aaron Burt, Zachary Calvert, Ashley Forrester, Jennifer Hoover, Christine Martin, Jenny Riley and Regina Walker. Existing since 2002, the purpose of the organization is to encourage, stimulate, and maintain scholarship of the individual members in all fields, particularly in psychology, and to advance the science of psychology. Membership is open to students with high standards of personal behavior majoring or minoring in psychology who have completed nine semester hours of psychology and at least three semesters of college course and is not ranked lower than the highest 35 percent of their class in general scholarship and have a minimum overall GPA and a psychology GPA of 3.000.
