We're gathered here today to honor our beloved Negotiator who was born in 1997 and passed away in February of this year. He was a man with charisma, humor and wit. He was a man who, for the last 14 years, made it his mission to help people save money by using Priceline. Using techniques such as manipulation through a microphone or getting a bouncer to frighten someone to do his bidding, he was the man for the job.

He will be remembered as the man with the plan when it came to savings. How did this happen, you may ask? Well, in the remote parts of a town unknown, the Negotiator was on a bus with a group of people headed for a destination.

However, the bus got out of control and crashed into the side of a bridge, where half of it was dangling off the edge. The Negotiator kicked the door open and quickly ushered everyone out while giving tips on saving money that were offered on the website. After the last passenger exited the bus, the Negotiator handed a woman his phone. His last words were "Save Yourself - Some Money."

The bus and Negotiator fell and the bus hit the ground, exploding instantly. The woman said, "It's what he would have wanted us to do" and she hit the button on his phone to book the savings. In his final moments, he was a hero by having the courage to put others before him. Let us bow our heads for a moment of silence.

With the Negotiator being gone, will this hurt the business of Priceline? I believe that it may or may not depending on the people who use Priceline. Once Priceline went from fixed prices instead of name your own price it was time for the Negotiator to leave. Some people have said that they will continue using Priceline.

Others have said they will switch to another company such as Allstate. Whatever the choice, we will find out in the months to come whether or not Priceline's sales will continue to be strong without the Negotiator.
