Golden Suns basketball welcomes Privateers to Tucker Coliseum

The fourth-ranked Arkansas Tech Golden Suns basketball team opened the 2011-12 regular season last Thursday with an outstanding 115-59 victory over Central Baptist at Tucker Coliseum.
The Arkansas Tech Wonder Boys improved to 21-3 overall and 12-0 in the Gulf South Conference as they picked up a 90-59 win Saturday over the Delta State Statesmen at Tucker Coliseum.
Tucker Coliseum held a season-high 2,125 fans as the Arkansas Tech Golden Suns claimed first place in the Gulf South Conference West Division standings following a 72-62 victory over the third-ranked Delta State Lady Statesmen.
Arkansas Tech Golden Suns Basketball will need to revise its record books following its 120-34 resounding home victory Tuesday evening over Rhema Bible College in non-conference action at Tucker Coliseum.
The Wonder Boys started their postseason campaign Friday night with a win over West Georgia in the opening round of the GSC Tournament, despite playing without one of their all-conference performers.
