| Wonder Boys Dominate Statesmen |

The Arkansas Tech Wonder Boys improved to 21-3 overall and 12-0 in the Gulf South Conference as they picked up a 90-59 win Saturday over the Delta State Statesmen at Tucker Coliseum. The victory was the 15th straight win for the nationally 12th-ranked Wonder Boys and they remain at the top of the West Division standings with two games left in the regular season. The Wonder Boys would finish the first half going on a 23-2 run heading into the locker room with a 48-15 advantage. The Statesmen were held scoreless for almost nine minutes during the run. Senior guard Jeremy Dunbar, who finished with 19 points in the win, scored 17 of those in the first half. Junior guard Johnie Davis added 15 of his 20 points in the first half. Dunbar finished 7-for-14 from the field, including 5-for-11 from behind the 3-point line, while Davis was 8-for-14 from the field and 4-for-8 from beyond the arc. In addition to Davis and Dunbar, senior Laithe Massey added 11 points, five rebounds and eight assists in the win. On the night, Tech shot 53 percent from the field and 46 percent from the 3-point line. The Wonder Boys take the court again tonight as they travel to Searcy for a 7:30 p.m. showdown at 16th-ranked Harding. Harding, who is 21-3 overall and 11-1 in the GSC, is one game behind Tech in the West Division standings. The Wonder Boys earned an 85-55 upset win at home over the then 19th-ranked Bison on Jan. 27.
