On Saturday the Golden Suns softball team played in its second double-header of the weekend.

Just two days after Dana Aldrich's second perfect game of the season, Arkansas Tech Softball closed out play Sunday in the four-day Gulf South Conference Crossover Tournament by dropping its final two games to West Alabama and North Alabama at Wilson-Morgan Park.

The Golden Suns softball team concluded play in its own Spring Slam Tournament Sunday at its new Chartwells Women’s Sports Complex, collecting wins in its final two games of the five-team tournament.

The Golden Suns completed the second day of play at the GSC/Midwest Crossover Tournament by splitting their two games. Tech opened with a 3-2 win over Drury to improve to 3-0 in the tournament and then suffered an 11-1 loss at the hands of SIU Edwardsville.
