Arkansas Tech Golden Suns tennis closed out its 2007-08 regular season Sunday on Senior Day at the Chartwells Women’s Sports Complex by falling 7-2 to Henderson State in Gulf South Conference action.

With Chartwells Complex set to open this Friday, the Golden Suns tennis team is set to compete in a two-day tournament. Tech will mix it up with 10 other regional schools including conference foes Delta State, Southern Arkansas, Ouachita Baptist, and Henderson State. As Coach Abby Davis enters her fourth year as tennis coach, this tournament proves to be a great kickoff to a new generation of tennis at Arkansas Tech University.

On Sept. 28-29, Tech will host a regional tennis tournament. The tournament will feature 11 schools, including Ouachita Baptist, Southeastern Oklahoma and Arkansas Pine-Bluff.
