On Sept. 28-29, Tech will host a regional tennis tournament. The tournament will feature 11 schools, including Ouachita Baptist, Southeastern Oklahoma and Arkansas Pine-Bluff.

The first day of the tournament, matches will be held at Chartwells Complex at Tech, Russellville High School and Old Post Park. However, the second day will only hold matches at Chartwells Complex. This tournament promises to give exposure and experience to Tech and the other schools involved, and it will also set up the season, which is scheduled to start in the spring  semester. Coach Abby Davis will lead the team into competition and is excited about the  weekend. “This will be a great opportunity for us to expose the Russellville community to some  outstanding women’s college tennis competition,” Davis said.
