Alex Trebek announced the suspension of “Jeopardy!” production until the end of the quarantine

At the age of 79 and with the diagnosis of pancreatic cancer, Alex Trebek is still in good health to be the host of popular television program «Jeopardy!». His wife, Jean Currivan-Trebek continues to support the well-being and health of Alex Trebek.
In his post on Twitter, the celebrity informed that the currently airing episodes of program «Jeopardy!» were taped a few weeks ago before the coronavirus quarantine. All interactions between Alex and contestants took place when the surrounding was safe.
The team of the show take the health of their staff, contestants, and guests very seriously, so they decided to stop making the show until it is safe to do so. Contestant tryouts have been postponed too.
Alex Trebek promised to update information on his Twitter page for the spectators to be aware of when the program production will be resumed. People say in their comments that they love «Jeopardy!» a lot!
