Atlanta Wants Clint Eastwood in Court

Atlanta’s leading newspaper sharply criticizes Clint Eastwood’s latest movie. According to its plot, a journalist Kathy Scruggs, played by Olivia Wilde, has intimate relationship with an FBI agent in order to get some important information about the bomb that was found in Atlanta during the 1996 Olympic Games.
As the newspaper’s lawyer Marty Singer says, such a story demonstrates the AJC using its reporters and encouraging sex as a reward for information. «That is entirely false,» he noted.
Warner Bros which was involved in the production of the movie, rejects the newspaper’s claim as «baseless.»
By the way, Wilde once said that she had studied Scruggs’ biography, but according to the AJC, they never heard of Wilde’s attempts to do this.
