Jimmy Carter was one of the Presidents of the United States of America, he was the one preceding Ronald Reagan and following Richard Nixon and Gerald Ford. He can be truly called one of the kindest presidents of the country. He is a worthy example to follow.
Carter lost the election of 1980. He was defeated by Ronald Reagan mainly because the latter's campaign was supported by Democratic dissatisfaction with the previous president, the crisis in Iran and failing economy due to high inflation and unemployment.
Today, Jimmy Carter is at risk of dying in case if he catches the coronavirus. He had brain cancer in 2015 and has compromised immunity. For these reasons, he may face serious consequences for his health and life. Jimmy Carter is another person for whom all of us need to stay home.
