On April 12, the Catholic world is celebrating the largest Christian holiday of Easter. This year, society had to abandon the usual religious traditions, but world stars including Barack Obama's wife who had once been accused of being a man, turned to the public with touching congratulations.
The coronavirus pandemic affected the celebration of Catholic Easter. Instead of the traditional consecration of Easter baskets and warm gatherings in the family, believers will have to celebrate Easter at home. The changes also affected famous representatives of show business and members of the royal family, who made public Easter greetings.
The former first lady of the United States Michelle Obama shared archive photographs from the celebration of Easter and noted that in conditions of self-isolation, many citizens may miss the traditional celebration.
Michelle Obama noted that like most people around the world, she had revised her life and was now forced to use online technology instead of the usual meetings with relatives or church services.
According to Michelle, this year she got a new feeling of gratitude for all the insignificant moments that she had taken for granted. Well, lady, we still have Easter, not some burial! Why are you so mourning?
What do you think about Easter this year? Are you celebrating?
