Tom Hanks paid tribute to Adam Schlesinger who died due to COVID-19

Several days ago, Tom Hanks and his wife, Rita Wilson, came back from Australia where they spent three weeks in isolation. They were tested COVID-19 positive. Fortunately, none of their children got infected.
Tom Hanks himself has starred in a great number of movie including a 200 survival movie «Cast Away». His last role was the role of Fred Rogers in 2019 drama film «A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood. His son, Colin Lewes Hanks, is an actor known for such films as «King Kong», «Orange County», «The Great Buck Howard», and others. In the end of March, there were rumors of Tom Hanks being accused of pedophilia and Oprah's arrested. But these turned out to be just rumors.
These days, Tom Hanks paid tribute on his Twitter page to the well-known singer and film producer Adam Schlesinger who died of COVID-19 complications on April 1. Tom's caption reads, «There would be no Playtone without Adam Schlesinger, without his That Thing You Do! He was a One-der. Lost him to Covid-19. Terribly sad today.»
Tom Hanks' readers are shocked with the news. Adam Schlesinger spent a week in hospital before his death. He was placed on a ventilator. Schlesinger has two daughters left.
