Robert Iger, the president of The Walt Disney shared some quite unexpected information with network users. It turned out that Tom Holland owed him a pint of beer for successful saving the franchise.
In his Twitter account, Iger posted a photo from the premiere of the movie «Onward». Here, he was captured with Chris Pratt and Tom Holland, who voiced the main characters.

In the caption for the photo, Disney's president recalled that Tom still owed some beer for saving Spider-Man.
It's all about the negotiations between Sony and Disney last year. They could have finished with the exception of Spider-Man from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, since the rights to the adaptation of the story belong to Sony Pictures. As a result, the parties managed to reach a compromise. As Iger later said, the decision was largely influenced by Tom Holland.
What a lovely turn! What do you think? Do you like beer in general?
